So for those who don't know what NOH8 is.. "The NOH8 Campaign is a silent protest photo project against California Proposition 8. The campaign features photographs portraying people in front of a white backdrop wearing white t-shirts, their mouths taped shut and "NOH8" painted on their cheek. it is honestly THE most kickass campaign ever. They support LGBT rights and use celebrities to promote their campaign with awesome photos. I guess this encourages to open their fucking eyes and just leave their prejudices behind. I'm Christian and growing up in a Christian family, I've always been told that being a gay/bisexual/lesbian/transgender in society is totally taboo and frowned upon AND considered a mortal sin. However, all my life, I've met tons of people who are gay.. I even have friends who are gay.. and being Christian, did it honestly matter to me? not really. sometimes, you don't really have to live your life based on the book.. no, not entirely. you need to be just a little more open-minded about things. we can't do anything about this.. gay people are gay.. it is what it is so why and go on telling people to change? because they won't and they can't. that won't change anything.
It kinda sucks that some people could get so judgmental.. I just hate homophobes.. If you don't support them, you don't have to fucking tell them off for being themselves.. it's honestly not even their fault theyre gay..
anyway.. i shall digress from the seriousness because this is becoming to sound like a poorly written essay.. anyway the most recent celeb photos were from Kevin and Jenna of GLEE!! I'm so happy cause well more people support gay rights! and i love Glee and Glee+NOH8= fucken awesome. and every single person who supports this campaign is someone I LAHVE! so if you do, I love you.
I'm looking forward to other shots! I'm hoping for Adam Lambert, Chris Colfer, Ellen Degeneres to join in.. Because they are gay and people look up to em. that would make a difference.. and oh, duh.. cause it'd be really cool cause *I* look up to these people.
